What are the most irritating things when you have to deal with lawyers?
I’m a divorce lawyer. Dealing with divorce lawyers need not essentially, necessarily be irritating. There are actually some lawyers with whom interacting is a joy. But you know the quip: “99% of lawyers give the rest a bad name.” So the real question is, what makes irritating lawyers irritating?
Irritating lawyers are:
- smug
- lax
- arrogant
- equivocal
- evasive
- dishonest
- dishonest (they are so dishonest it warrants listing this trait twice)
- amoral
- conniving
- self-dealing and greedy
- hypocritical
