Can I repair the relationship with an alienated family member after divorce?

When one’s former spouse alienated someone from their family, how can one repair the relationship with the family after the spouse is divorced?

I am thankful for your question, and it’s a good one, but it is a question best posed to a family counselor and/or minister, not a divorce attorney. That stated, I will say that in my experience with this situation, you need to be bear in mind: 1) that this alienated family member has been deceived into believing you’re a bad person and needs time to discover this deceit for himself/herself, 2) you will need to treat your family member with love and forgiveness consistently, and 3) you will need to be patient with your deceived/alienated family member as you take the laboring oar in the process of correcting your alienated loved one’s perceptions and repairing the damaged relationship.
