How to Pronounce Certiorari and What It Means.

Today’s question comes from a viewer of the UFTLV channel who wants to know not only what this term means, but how it is properly pronounced! First, the definition: an extraordinary writ issued by an appellate court, at its discretion, directing a lower court to deliver the record in the case for review. Now the term: writ of certiorari, which can be pronounced as (sər-shee-ə-rer-Ī or -rer-ee or -rah-ree, and there are still other pronunciations in use. I’ve included a link to a short YouTube video on this very subject, which you can find in the description section of this video.
