Let me answer your question this way; here are the things divorce lawyers get lied to about the most (in this order):
  1. money issues (lying about income, hidden assets)
  2. false claims of child abuse (happens all the time)
  3. substance abuse (alcoholism, drug abuse—whether street drugs or prescription or both)
  4. infidelity
  5. false denial of commission of domestic violence against the other spouse and/or children
